Illinois Motorcycle Insurance
Illinois Insurance Requirements and Optional Coverages
Protect Yourself
Minimum Bodily Injury Coverage
- $20,000 per person injured in any one accident and
- $40,000 for all persons injured in any one accident
Minimum Property Damage Coverage
- $15,000 for injury to or destruction of property of others in any one accident
Uninsured Motorist (UM) Coverage
- The amount of Uninsured Motorist coverage you purchase must be at least equal to your bodily injury liability limits, unless specifically rejected in writing. In no case can the amount of UM be less than that legally required for bodily injury liability coverage.
There are many optional coverages that we suggest you purchase. For instance if you have a bike with a lot of customizations you may want to get insurance to cover all your after market products.
Remember these are the MINIMUM requirements. We suggest you have more coverage than this to protect yourself. We are not insurance agents. Contact an insurance company and speak to someone who can help you get the coverage you need. Call us anytime if you have questions about insurance requirements.
*Remember laws/requirements are subject to change and that we are merely suggesting this insurance coverage. We are not insurance agents so speak with your insurance agent to find out what policy will best protect you.
Testimonials
"Jason made the insurance
company pay us over
$1,000,000 on our motorcycle
accident injury. He made
them pay my wage loss and
medical bills and didn't charge
a fee on the no-fault benefits."
